IPTVスクリーン向けのユーザーインタフェースをデザインする際には、少ないコンテンツを豊かに見せることがトレンドだったが、今回の大々的な二次UI改善では、膨大なコンテンツを一目瞭然に見たいというユーザーのニーズを反映し、落ち着いたインタフェースを提案した。

ブランドUXの一貫性をいかに維持するか、今後に期待したい。

olleh tvの概要KT olleh tv is number one IPTV service in Korea. It owns extensive range of content including an estimated 200 high definition channels, over 190,000 video-on-demands, and various TV apps. All the while, olleh tv endeavored to provide vast range of content efficiently and rapidly to users, and through usability investigations and in-depth interviews, have understood what users want. The brand-new olleh tv will show you how a TV service can meet the users needs.

olleh tvの開発・企画についてUsers can browse through a huge number of content on TV in their preferred ways. And unique functions are available while consuming each content based on its category or genre. In the whole use process, a special assistant will help users from beginner to advanced control the TV service more easily.

ユーザー・社会に伝えたいことPay TV services have hundreds live TV channels and more than tens of thousands video-on-demands. And new content are being created and added to TV services at a tremendous speed. However, TV users are not ready for that. They want to enjoy various content but are unwilling to lean forward in front of TV. The brand-new olleh tv aims to propose a proper solution to the situation.
olleh tvはその使用者・利用者にどのような価値を実現したかWe focused on what users want. As users show different aspects in finding or consuming content, depending on their categories or genres, we provide unique home screen for each category. Each one of them has different components and displays content in various ways according to its category. As users are unwilling to be cut off from video even while they are exploring other content, we provide a stationary picture-in-picture appears at the right hand top of the menu structure. This approach give the sense of continuity, making the search function easier and more comfortable. And we applied z-axis expression for the PIP to give a different depth perception among screen elements. Finally, we provide a voice assistant to make anyone can use the TV service more easily.
ユーザーの使いやすさや商品の親切さの向上のためにデザインが特に取り組んだ事項Nowadays TV services become more complicated as new content and features are being added to them continuously.However, we wanted to keep TV service comfortable and unweighted since it is the most representative traditional lean-back media and most users are still passive in front of TV.Our project aimed to solve the challenge.
